Part one of episode: Potkali se u kolina Between 1965 and 1967, Czechoslovakia animator Bretislav Pojar made a series of six shorts called Hey Mister, Let's Play. Most stop-motion cartoons star two bears, a smart, the other not so much. Pojar made five more episodes with the same Bear in the early 1970s, this time it was called Who has it, gentlemen?. This video is the first short "Potkali kolina se u" ( "How you met at Kolin")-which introduces the characters. Caricatureis over forty years, but it looks so fresh and alive, like a cartoon produced today. How they ever managed to do with so much charm and attractiveness? It is not easy to arrange, and Director Pojar and designer Miroslav Stepanek make it all so effortlessly. The animation of the characters is particularly fun to watch with stylized movements and graphic inventiveness abound.
